PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER - PART TIME
San Felipe de Neri Catholic School is looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative, and engaging part time Physical Education Teacher to join our team. This is a four-days/week position.
Responsibilities include: The spiritual, intellectual, and physical development of PreKindergarten through middle school students, planning, implementing, and assessing lessons in alignment with standards with patience and creativity, using a variety of activities, instructional methods, and assessments to safely facilitate mastery of ASF Physical Education standards, establishing and maintaining a positive learning environment by effectively managing student behavior, maintaining an open line of communication with parents, staff, and administration, and organizing classroom, learning materials, and resources to maximize learning.
Qualifications: A Current New Mexico Teaching License or Bachelor’s Degree and a willingness to work toward one, proven work experience in a Physical education position, excellent knowledge of children and adolescent's physical development, latest educational theories and best practices, and stamina, patience, and flexibility. AFTER CARE FACILITATOR - PART TIME
San Felipe de Neri Catholic School is looking for an enthusiastic, collaborative, and engaging part time Aftercare staff member to join our team. The hours are Monday through Friday from 3:20 pm until 5:30 pm in alignment with the Archdiocese School Calendar.
Responsibilities include: Assisting with homework in language arts, math, science, and social studies of PK to 8th graders, Overseeing daily activities that focus on developing children's social and motor skills, Preparing learning materials and equipment, such as books, arts and crafts, paper, and other supplies as needed, Interacting with children to provide guidance, emotional support, and motivation to complete tasks, Communicating effectively with other school staff.
