Dear Parents/Guardians,

I hope you all had a restful four days off last weekend and you had the chance to spend some extra time with your children.

Thank you to Mrs. Kathleen Payne, the Middle School students, and judges who put a great deal of work and thought into this year’s Science Fair projects. Congratulations to all our winners! We have five students who will be taking their projects to the Central New Mexico Science and Engineering Research Challenge at UNM this year from March 20-22nd. They are Aiden Aragon, Alexandria Davis, Lucas Gutierrez, Fiona Kilgore, and Marissa Lovato.

We had a good number of new families come through our school for Open House on January 26^th and there was a lot of interest generated in our school. If you have not done so already, please remember to re-register for next year online and bring any required paperwork and the Registration Fee to the office to secure a spot for your student. We have almost reached capacity for one class of every grade level at this point.

This Friday, before Morning Prayer, our Cub Scouts will be selling donuts as a fundraiser for their group, and our Student Council will be selling hot chocolate. Come enjoy a donut and hot chocolate to keep warm!

Box Tops are due this Friday, 2/21. Bring in all you have to support our school.

Come and join us this Friday evening at 6:00pm as the San Felipe PTO hosts our second movie night – Despicable Me 2. Bring your blankets, pillows, and lawn chairs. Donations are accepted and the snack bar will be open for families to buy food to eat while you’re enjoying the movie.

On Friday, February 28^th, the Student Council will hold their Winter Ball in the gym at San Felipe. The Dance will be open to students in 5^th to 8^th Grade. It should be a fun evening of socializing, dancing, and hanging out with friends!

Mrs. Sandoval’s class will have their First Confession on Saturday, March 8^th at 2:00pm. Congratulations to Mrs. Lucero’s students who had their First Confession last Saturday!

For families who would like to make plans, our Spring Break is March 24^th- March 28^th.

Please remember the importance of taking your children to Mass each Sunday!
