Dear Parents,

This year has been a great year for our students, they continue to work hard and show good citizenship. I'm glad I have had the opportunities to witness Morning Prayer and be present everyday during our lunch program. This is a valuable time for me to interact with your child as well as trouble shoot any issues they may have. I know it is extremely important for all of our students to be comfortable in going to the principal; we must always strive for a safe and secure environment. This is never accomplished by sitting in an office. I hope to continue this practice of being visible for all of our students and families.
Important events and information:
1. Distinguished Disciples- One student and one parent were chosen for this honor. The parent representing our school is Mr. Dennis Romero and the student is Roman Chavez, Congratulations!
2. Catholic Foundation gave our preschool program a ten thousand dollar grant. We are very grateful for their support.
3. Your help is needed to increase our enrollment for next year in preschool. We have expanded our program to include full and half time slots for three and four year old students. We hope this will meet the needs of our families and encourage others to attend.
4. We continue to honor small class size as a request from many families. This allows for more individualized instruction for your child.
5. Faith Bowl Challenge will be at St. Pius, April 24th from 9:00 to 12:00.
6. May Crowning will be May 1st at 2:00 pm. The procession will start in the school parking lot.
7. Our annual Talent show will be May 13th at 1:30 pm in the gym.
8. Field day is May 14th in the morning, please call the front office if you can volunteer or need service hours.
9. Pre-k graduation is May 15th; contact Mrs. Willis for more information.
10. Kindergarten graduation is May 21st at 9:00. Contact Mrs. Finney for more information.
11. Graduation for 8th grade starts at San Felipe Church at 6:00pm, May 22.
